ACSR/AW
1). Standard: IEC61089, ASTM B549
2). Specification:
ACSR/AW is composed by round aluminium wires and round aluminum-clad steel wires.
3). Application:
ACSR/AW is used as bare overhead transmission conductor and as primary and secondary distribution conductor. ACSR/AW offers the same strength characteristics as ACSR, along with slightly greater ampacity and resistance to corrosion due to the aluminium cladding of the steel wires. It provides greater protection where corrosive conditions are severe.
