This kind of bare conductor is composed by bare concentric-lay-stranded aluminium wires with a straight round central aluminium wire surrounded by one layed aluminium wires.

* This conductor is the most favored type for use in the construction of relatively short span distribution schemes.
* This conductor is also in common use on overhead electric power transmission and distribution lines for voltages up to 60kV.
